Roman Reigns WWE News & Rumors: Wrestler Rips Reigns For Not Knowing 'How To Work' [VIDEO]

Roman Reigns has been a very polarizing wrestler for quite some time now.

As he prepares for his WrestleMania 32 main event clash with Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the leader of the Roman Empire has no shortage of detractors.

Though he's taken strides in his development, the general consensus is that the WWE has rushed his mega push and shoved him down everyone's throats.

April 3 will mark the second straight WrestleMania where Reigns headlines the show by going after the richest prize in the game, despite many fans not jumping on his side yet. Among his detractors, apparently, is former WWE Superstar and current Lucha Underground star Johnny Mundo (Morrison).

While taking yet another jab at former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Mundo also took a shot at Reigns when asked who he wants to work with down the line.

"Well I've fought most them," Mundo told The World according to Wrestling (via WrestlingInc). "Everyone knows some day I'm gonna beat the crap out of Seth Rollins -- that would be awesome. I'd love to beat the crap out of him. I'd just love to have a great match with Seth Rollins. Roman Reigns, I'd love to wrestle him in like 10 years if he's still wrestling, because by then hopefully he'd figure out how to work.

Ouch. Point Mundo.

The WWE transitioned Reigns from being the muscle behind The Shield to climbing up the ladder way too fast as a singles wrestler.

Unlike legends before him such as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Ultimate Warrior, The Rock and countless others, Reigns didn't go through the midcard, win the Intercontinental Championship and then gradually get pushed.

Instead, the company rushed him into the spotlight by having him go from a tag wrestler to an unstoppable force as a singles star. Many people have taken notice, including Mundo, and it's a stigma Reigns has yet to overcome.

Though he's taken strides over the last year, the WWE's rushed booking has hindered Reigns in the public eye. He has a chance to prove himself at WrestleMania, but even though he'll enter as the babyface, Reigns will likely be booed by the majority of the over 80,000 fans at AT&T Stadium.
