Scottie Pippen, the proud owner of six NBA championship rings alongside Michael Jordan, knows the look of a winner. Apparently he sees championship qualities in Derrick Rose.

Now a special advisor to the president & COO of the Chicago Bulls, Pippen told NBC Sports he's almost certain the homegrown Rose will lead the Bulls to yet another title before long.

"That's our belief as a team," Pippen said while recently speaking with reporters as part of a contingent of front office officials who were in Brazil as part of the team's participation in the Global Games. Rose sat out that game due to soreness in his surgically repaired left knee, but Pippen doesn't envision the 25-year-old former league MVP missing out on his bottom-line goal.

"Derrick is a very hard working player," he told ProBasketballTalk.com. "He's very determined. He's a serious player and he wants to win. There's no doubt in our mind that Derrick Rose will win a championship as a Chicago Bull."

After missing all of last season rehabbing from a torn ACL, Rose later told reporters he only sat as a precautionary measure and that the front office made the call for him to rest. He stressed that he could have played through the slight discomfort.
