The WWE recently shocked the wresting world when the company revealed that John Cena will be returning to the ring earlier than originally scheduled, as the Cenation leader is now slated to take on Alberto Del Rio later this month at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event on Oct. 27. Cena, the face of the WWE, recently showed off his twerking skills in a Capri Sun commercial.
Cena recently appeared on Showbiz Tonight and talked about his early recovery and how he feels about returning.
"I feel great, the doctors are happy with everything," Cena told Showbiz Tonight. "I thought I was going to be off until past Christmas but now I can get back in the WWE Universe and do what I love."

Cena's early return has led to a lot of speculation as to how and why the WWE found a way to bring Cena back nearly three months sooner than expected
Cena has been out of action since the WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view in August due to surgery on his distended elbow and torn triceps, but vowed he'd be back stronger than ever on his official Twitter account where he posted updates on his injury and his rehab almost daily.
Cena was originally slated to be out four-to-six months with his reported most realistic return date being the WWE's Royal Rumble pay-per-view in late January. However, the WWE announced on last Monday's addition of Monday Night RAW that the Superstar will return for his clash with Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship later this month.
Wrestlingheadlines.com is reporting that the backstage news on Cena's early return is that he wasn't as hurt as doctors had originally thought he was. Upon his examination prior to surgery and after his initial examination, doctors found out that Cena had only suffered a partial tear in his triceps and that his recovery time would be less than they thought when he first sustained the injury. The site reports that the WWE knew this the whole time, but gave out the Royal Rumble date as a return time for Cena anyway.
WWE thought about keeping Cena out of action until January despite his recovery, but with a relatively thin roster they have decided to bring a healthy Cena back for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. With the theme of the event, many speculated that Cena and Del Rio would possibly square off inside the cell, but reports indicate that the WWE is leaning towards a standard one-one-one match between the two for the title while the Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton match for the WWE Championship will be contested in the cell.
The WWE apparently knew Cena would be returning about four or five days before the announcement was made, but they didn't decide on Cena taking on Del Rio until over the weekend, and then the announcement was made on Monday's RAW.
It will be interesting to see if Cena has any ring rust since he hasn't grappled in the squared circle since Aug. 18 when he dropped the WWE Title to Daniel Bryan, but knowing the way he trains, the Cenation leader should be just fine come Oct. 27.
