Conor McGregor needed just 13 seconds to show why he is one of the new stars in the UFC right now.
McGregor and Jose Aldo finally faced off inside the Octagon and for those who were rooting for Aldo to use his experience against the Irishman, it was the precision and timing of The Notorious that made the difference.

"Jose was an incredible champion. He deserved to go a little bit longer. But I believe that precision beats power, and that's what you saw," McGregor said via Bleacher Report. "Nobody can take that left hand shot."
Just one precise hit ended it all and just like that, Aldo was down. The Brazilian was apparently rocked by a vicious left hook but when he came to, he wanted a do-over.

“I think we need a rematch and that will be my fight,” said Aldo via the Daily Mail.
McGregor is open to the idea despite initially saying that a rematch will depend on how the fight goes. Checking out the video below and how fast the match went, it may be a hard one to call.
If so, this means that Frankie Edgar could be waiting a bit to get his chance at the title. Edgar put himself in a good position to face the winner of that match, but from the looks of it, he may have to wait a bit since a rematch had always been the likely scenario.
And what if he is made to wait?
“I’d be floored,” he told MMA Junkie when asked what would happen if he didn’t get the title shot. “That’s what I’m hoping doesn’t happen. Fingers crossed."
For his part, Edgar was hoping to get the nod as McGregor’s next opponent, possibly at UFC 198, which will take place on Apr. 23, 2016. But right now such is not in his hands.
