On the heels of The Undertaker being rumored to appear on RAW this week and at SummerSlam in August, Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that Sting is also expected for the big event.
Per the report, The Vigilante is scheduled to be at SummerSlam on Aug. 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the WWE is also expecting to build toward a match for him in the coming weeks.

It has already been rumored that The Undertaker will also have a bout at SummerSlam, so the speculation is likely to be that the two may cross paths at the WWE's biggest summer event.
According to the latest rumors, Sting's return to the ring has been in the works for some time, but it was delayed due to some sort of injury, either to the former WCW and TNA icon himself or his projected opponent, which could be The Undertaker.
The WWE always tries to make SummerSlam a big deal and with the event returning to New York for the first time since 2002, there is already a lot of excitement surrounding it.
After carving out a name for himself in WCW as the face of Ted Turner's organization, Sting also had a Hall of Fame career in TNA.
The Icon then jumped over to WWE last fall after years of back-and-forth negotiations with McMahon and several close calls. Sting burst onto the WWE scene at the Survivor Series in November, helping Team Cena overcome Team Authority.
This eventually led to Sting making his Monday Night RAW debut and having his first ever WWE match against Triple H.
The Game and The Vigilante then met at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
The clash saw Triple H win by using his trusty sledgehammer and also featured interference from the original nWo (Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash) and D-Generation X (X-Pac, The New Age Outlaws and Shawn Michaels).
It had always been rumored that Sting would face The Undertaker, but he clashed with The Game while The Deadman battled Bray Wyatt. It's possible the long-awaited battle could happen at SummerSlam.
Following his loss, Sting said he hoped he could wrestle in the WWE again someday.
"I don't know," Sting said when Young asked him about his future in the WWE in an exclusive interview in March. "I don't know what the future holds, but I do know this...I don't know. I don't know what the future holds, I really don't know. I don't know what opportunities the WWE might throw my way, but whatever they do throw my way, I'm gonna reach out and I'm gonna grab it. And if they don't throw anything my way, well that's just too bad. It's a crying shame as far as I'm concerned."
That opportunity may be upon Sting and the WWE Universe as it appears The Vigilante is slated for a big role in New York City for SummerSlam.
