Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC the eyes of college football will be trained on the ACC Championship Game. Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson is not buying into the public opinion that Florida State is overrated heading into this conference title tilt.

"I see a really good football team that knows how to win," Johnson said. "Winning is hard. They've won 28 consecutive games. That's really hard to believe in this day and age.

"They've got a bunch of guys that are good athletes, they are very well-coached and they know how to win. They haven't blown as many people out as maybe a year ago, but they've still got a really fine football team. Make no mistake about that."

FSU has garnered a "lucky" reputation thanks to a slew of close victories against ACC foes; the conference is not considered up to par with the other power conferences like the SEC or Big Ten, so a dominant ACC team is expected to trample competition.

There has also been a year-long onslaught of negative coverage for 2013 Heisman winner Jameis Winston which could be coloring the perception of the Seminoles. On the field, Winston hasn't been the same. He threw 40 touchdowns last season as opposed to just 21 this year, while his interceptions have spiked this year (17) compared to last (10).

FSU coach Jimbo Fisher made no apologies for the Seminoles' close victories, making the point that wins are wins regardless of the margin of victory.

"That's who we are and how we play," Fisher said. "We'll play the way we play. The game's a 60-minute game. Some of the games we've started fast. Some we haven't started as fast. We'll keep doing the things we do. Try to play 60 minutes as hard as we can and adjust to the game."
