Vincenzo Nibali of team Astana leads the pack and wears the yellow jersey after six stages of the tour. Nibali will attempt to hold onto his two second lead on his Astana teammate Jakob Fuglsang on the tour’s sixth stage.
Stage seven is the longest stage in the entire tour and the weather conditions should make it one of the most difficult. The stage has a pair of Category 4 climbs that come within the last 20 kilometers of the day. Velo News charted out the entire stage in great detail.

The two hills at the end of the stage and the declining weather conditions should make for a compelling race. Stage favorites include Peter Sagan, Alexander Kristoff and Michal Kwiatkowski as they all chase Nibali and Astana.
