Vincenzo Nibali of team Astana leads the pack and wears the yellow jersey after five stages of the tour. Nibali will attempt to hold onto his two second lead on his Astana teammate Jakob Fuglsang on the tour’s sixth stage.
The stage is a flat terrain that runs for 194 kilometers that will start at Arras' Grand’ Place and runs south for most of the stage. Defiende El Maillot charted a full profile of the stage as well as it’s “two Category 4 climbs.”

The slippery conditions continue to plague the field as the tour lost another high profile cyclist in Chris Froome. Froome has dropped out of the race due to injuries he received in a crash and the peloton will continue to monitor the course as it reaches the mountain stages.
