Men's Side

Women's Side
Alize Cornet vs. Eugenie Bouchard
Angelique Kerber vs. Maria Sharapova
Day 6 of Wimbledon gave us a major upset as No. 1 Serena Williams was sent home by No. 25 Alize Cornet 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the tournaments third round. This loss by Williams is just another disappointment in a season where she has been less than stellar.
Also losing on the women’s side was No. 24 Kirsten Flipkens to No. 9 Angelique Kerber and No. 20 Andrea Petkovic to No. 13 Eugenie Bouchard.
The men’s side was much less eventful as only No. 15 Jerzy Janowicz was upset in his 6-2, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 4-6, 6-3 loss to No. 23 Tommy Robredo.
Day 7 of the tournament will have us follow No. 1 Novak Djokovic, No. 3 Andy Murray and No. 5 Maria Sharapova as they kick off the second week at the All England Club. Djokovic looks to continue his great play while remaining healthy and Sharapova continues to establish herself as the favorite for another major tournament.
