Day 3 of Wimbledon was its fair share of interesting matches as men’s No. 1 Novak Djokovic and women’s No. 10 Dominika Cibulkova got a little bit of a scare before ultimately prevailing into the next round.
The day was not as kind to men’s No. 7 David Ferrer, No. 12 Ernests Gulbis, No. 17 Mikhail Youzhny as they were sent home in the second round and only the third day of the tournament. No. 8 Victoria Azarenka, No. 12 Flavia Pennetta and No. 32 Elena Vesnina met similar fates on the women's side, but No. 2 Li Na did advance in straight sets.
Day 4 of Wimbledon will feature the familiar faces of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer as they look to advance another day in London. Nadal struggled early in his first match and looks to rebound against Lukas Rosol.
On the women’s side it will be the Serena Williams’ show as the question isn't if she will be eliminated, but rather when will she lose a set.
