Reports indicate that the following was taped Tuesday night for the episode of WWE SmackDown that is set to air this Friday, June 13 from Green Bay as the company continues to build up towards Money in the Bank on June 29 at the TD Garden in Boston.
Ronda Rousey To Join The Shield?
In the main event of the evening, Bray Wyatt defeated Dean Ambrose in a Money in the Bank qualifying match after Seth Rollins came down to attempt to cost Ambrose the match. Wyatt then hit Sister Abigail and got the pinfall victory to advance to the ladder match.
Ambrose opened up the show with Roman Reigns to cut a promo on Rollins and Evolution. Triple H interrupted on the big screen and announced Reigns vs. Bad News Barrett. The match never really got going as Barrett came out and received a Super Punch from Reigns and then 3MB emerged and attacked Reigns.
WWE Possibly Adding Second Ladder Match At MITB
In other action, Erick Rowan defeated Jey Uso, Bo Dallas topped R-Truth with the Bo-dog and Adam Rose overcame Fandango. During the Rose-Fandango match, Summer Rae was dressed up as one of the Rose Buds and attacked Layla.
Elsewhere on the program, Paul Heyman cut a promo about Brock Lesnar ending The Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania XXX and then led Cesaro down as he defeated Sheamus in a physical non-title match via a small package.
Also on the episode, Big E defeated Jack Swagger while Lana and Rusev taunted Big E from the stage and in Divas action, Alicia Fox defeated Aksana.
This episode of SmackDown continued the build towards Money in the Bank and focused mainly on The Shield struggling with Rollins and Evolution.
