Tonight at 7:05 p.m. ET, the Milwaukee Brewers (36-25) and Pittsburgh Pirates (28-31) take the field at PNC Park for the series opener of a three-game set live from Pittsburgh. The game can be live streamed for free here. Milwaukee fans can hear all of the action on WTMJ 620 while Pittsburgh fans can hear all of the action on KDKA 93.7

First place Milwaukee continues its eight-game road trip after splitting a two-game set in Minnesota with the Twins while third place Pittsburgh embarks on a seven-game homestand after a 6-4 road swing.

Kyle Lohse (7-1, 2.60 ERA) takes the ball for the Brewers while the Pirates counter with Brandon Cumpton on the hill, who is 0-2 with a 6.85 ERA.

Cumpton is coming off of a rough start, where the Los Angeles Dodgers tagged him for 10 earned runs in 3.2 innings on Saturday and will look to bounce back.

After a rough start to April, the Pirates finished a game above .500 in May and are 3-1 thus far in June.

"It was a new challenge, because we got out of the blocks pretty clean each of the first three years I'd been here," Pirates manager Clint Hurdle said via MLB.com. "I do think you are prepared for your future through all your past, if you've paid attention."

Lohse has not only been solid on the bump but he has provided a great veteran presence in the clubhouse for the Brewers, who exploded out of the gate but were 15-16 in May despite holding down first place in the NL Central.

"You need your veteran players, the guys you count on, you need them to come through," manager Ron Roenicke said per MLB.com. "Kyle has come through. He's a guy that pitched great for us last year, he continues to do it this year, and I think he's probably feeling better this year than he did last year."

Lohse leads the NL with a .875 winning percentage and his seven wins tie him four fourth in the league.

Closer Jason Grilli will be out for some revenge for Pittsburgh after he gave up a pair of nine inning home runs in the last series between these teams at PNC Park last month. Milwaukee outfielder Carlos Gomez returns to the site where an argument he was the center of spilled into a bench-clearing brawl on April 20.

Gomez ranks fifth in the National League in total bases (123), slugging percentage (.562) and OPS (.940).

Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy is third in the NL with a .325 average while he also ranks third in doubles (21). First baseman Mark Reynolds is hitting just .212, but is third in the NL with 13 homers.

Pittsburgh outfielder Andrew McCutchen is hitting .299 this season with six homers and 26 RBIs, and ranks third in the NL in on-base percentage (.430) and first in walks (44).

The Brewers and Pirates kick off their three-game series tonight at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
