Mario Chalmers has been ordered to pay nearly four times as much in monthly child support for his baby daughter Queen Elizabeth than he'd been previously paying.

According to Re-tox.com, the Miami Heat veteran guard will now be required to pay $10,000 in monthly support, up from the $2.600 he was previously mandated to dole out.

Initially Brittany Burrough, the child's mother, filed court papers seeking the increase last year on the basis Chalmers' life "had become grossly lavish" ever since he signed a three-year, $12 million extension with the two-time defending champs in 2011.

With the new contract, Burrough's attorneys estimate Chalmers monthly income increased from roughly $70,000 to $400,000. Lawyers also noted to the court Chalmers spends around $22,000 per month on housing, $10,000 for a personal assistant, $5,000 on vacations and roughly $2,000 on clothing and other expenses.

Three-peat chase wearing on Miami Heat?

By contrast, Burroughs claims after recently being laid off she's been required to move in with her sister and get by on just $1,000 per month in income. Burroughs also told the court she would like to continue her education, but has been unable to afford to do so.

As part of the order, Chalmers was also ordered to pay retroactive child support going back to the date of Burrough's initial filing, resulting in her being also awarded a lump sum payment of $155,000.

Chalmers and the Heat are now battling the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals for the right to play for their third straight NBA title.
