Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Toronto Maple Leafs (38-35-8, 84 points) and Ottawa Senators (35-31-14, 84 points) faceoff live from the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa. The game can be live streamed here. Toronto fans can hear all of the action on TSN 1050 while Ottawa fans can do the same on Star 96.6.
Toronto closes out its schedule while Ottawa plays its second-to-last game of the season as neither team will make the playoffs. The Maple Leafs look for the season sweep after defeating the Senators in the prior three meetings.
The Maple Leafs hope to close out the season strong and put an end to a three-game skid.
"I think our message has been that our level of compete has to be displayed in a very trying situation and emotions for people to reach back and dig deep," coach Randy Carlyle said after practice Friday via NHL.com. "We have not been able to do that specifically in the past two games."
The Senators are looking for their fourth straight victory.
"The obvious first place you start when you evaluate [the season] is that you're not in the top 16, you're not in the top eight in the Eastern Conference," coach Paul MacLean said Thursday per NHL.com. "After we play 82 games, we are going to evaluate all the rest of it, and we have to work hard to discover what or why we are not in the top eight."
The Senators have been led by Erik Karlsson (20-52-72), Jason Spezza (22-43-65) and Kyle Turris (25-31-56) while Phil Kessel (37-43-80), James van Riemsdyk (30-31-61) and Nazem Kadri (20-30-50) have paced the Maple Leafs.
With Jonathan Bernier (MCL) still out, James Reimer will likely man the crease for Toronto and is 12-15-1 with a 3.37 GAA and a .908 save percentage while Craig Anderson will likely suit up for Ottawa and is 24-16-8 with a 3.06 GAA and a .909 save percentage.
