Final Four 2014: Wisconsin flying under the radar? Badgers should embrace underdog role? [VIDEO]

The Final Four is finally upon us and it is gearing up to be one for the ages. We have the overall number one, the “most complete team”, the Cinderella with pedigree and the preseason number one all together at least. Next up is the Wisconsin Badgers.

The Basics: Wisconsin is the dark hours of the Final Four and as a no. two seed they seem to be getting no press and no attention at all. I’m sure they appreciate the under the radar approach, but that could give them one hell of a chip on their shoulder. The Badgers are as a surprise as any team still alive due to their miserable run in the middle of the season which they lost 5 of 6 before finishing the season on a stronger note.

Strengths: That under the radar look they are giving off will allow them to sneak up on Kentucky, even if they are the higher seed. Kentucky has beaten better teams on paper than the Badgers and could be going into this game with the same big head that got them dethroned from preseason number one. Wisconsin is also second in the nation in holding onto the ball and doesn't allow the other team to force turnovers.

Weakness: As easy as the Badgers hold onto the ball they just as easily cant force turnovers on the other end. On defense they are 321st in forced turnover's which hurts when your a team that can go on a cold streak like they did in the middle of the season.
