Tonight at 7:20 p.m. ET, No. 11 Providence (23-11, 10-8 Big East) and No. 6 North Carolina (23-9, 13-5 ACC) go head-to-head live from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX for NCAA March Madness tournament Round 2 action as part of the Eastern bracket. The game can be live streamed for free here or viewed on TNT. Providence fans can hear all of the action on WEEI 93.7 while UNC fans can do the same on 97.9 WCHL.

Providence enters its first tournament in a decade while UNC comes into March Madness on a two-game skid for the first time since that very same year.

The Friars haven't earned a tournament win since 1997 but earned an automatic bid into the bracket by winning the Big East tournament over Creighton.

"As I sit here today, I'm enjoying this more than you know," said Providence coach Ed Cooley, according to ESPN.

North Carolina comes in on the heels of some frustration as they had a bad start and finish to their season, with a 12-game winning streak sandwiched in between. Still, coach Roy Williams believes in his squad.

"It's been a marvelous group. If it hadn't been for my team, I would've jumped off the top of the building," Williams said via ESPN. "My team is the one that was the savior throughout the whole season, and since the off-season. It's been a tough time around Chapel Hill."

James Michael McAdoo admitted his team has been inconsistent this season while adding that there is no time for inconsistency in the NCAA tournament.

"Now? I would hope not, at a point where it's win or go home," McAdoo, who leads the team with 6.7 rebounds per game, told ESPN. "But obviously it's true by looking at our record earlier in the season."

Providence will look to give the ball to Bryce Cotton, as he leads the team in points (21.4) and assists (5.8) while Marcus Paige, who says he's fine after having a contusion on his hip and will likely wear a pad tonight, should play a big factor for UNC as he leads the team in points (17.4) and assists (4.3).

UNC looks for some consistency while Providence will try to prolong their first trip to the tournament in a decade when these two teams tip off tonight in Texas.
